Recently the club hosted a stellar event that featured some of the biggest and most promising names in the house music industry - Jay Em, FKA Mash, and Kid Fonque.
Jay Em served the opening set for the night, featuring sounds from the likes of Kaytranada, Stay True Sounds, and the duo themselves. They were pushing a very deep house-focused the first hour of their set. The second hour was a switch-up, bringing sounds from all over the afro house sphere. Heavily focused on sounds like that of Black Motion, Mörda, and Da Capo.
Kid Fonque and FKA Mash followed with a back-to-back set picking up directly from where Jay Em had left the crowd. Their set featured mostly unreleased music from both Mash and Fonque, with most of their set showcasing sounds from the popular subgenre of afro-house known as ‘3 step’ led by artists such as Thakzin and Atmos Blaq.
Needless to say, the night was nothing short of an extraordinary experience for all those who attended. The artists played their best sets, and the crowd could not resist grooving to the beats and letting themselves loose.
